Today was the day for the Eiffel Tower, and I have plenty of pictures to share! This afternoon, we took the TGV from Paris to Rennes, and students met their French families at the train station. They were SO excited and nervous- I couldn't help but smile and get some video at the same time. I'm so proud of what they are doing and I can't wait to hear about their experiences!
In the meantime, I'm going to work on the blog as much as I can throughout the weekend while getting a little shopping in here and there :) This is my first time visiting Rennes, and it will be fun to explore the city.
Thanks again for reading, and the students enjoy hearing about your comments!
Ciao for now :)

Anne! C'était super bon. Mary-Ellen nous dit que tu as fait des études près d'ici, non?
ReplyDeleteEst-ce que tu as des vacances de printemps à ce moment? Tu vas venir en France cet été?
I have enjoyed reliving your adventures through this blog. What beautiful photographs. My compliments to the photographer/s. I ALMOST feel like I'm there with you (wish I was by the way). Definately living vicariously through you. Looks like you're having a really good time. Can't wait to hear about your weekend with all your newly made friends.

Thank you for the pictures and comments so full of energy and joy.I did take note of the empty dessert glasses that once held chocolate mousse, one of the many delights France has to offer.Enjoy and look forward to the debriefing next week.
ReplyDeleteIt is completely wonderful to read the Teacher's Blog and see all her fantastic pictures!!!! Bruce isn't bad either, your French is impeccable. It all makes me wish I could start over and take French in school like Emily did when she started in third grade. Emily and all of you lucky students will draw upon and remember this experience for the rest of your lives. You are SO fortunate!
ReplyDeleteShop, have fun, and enjoy your Host families. I wish I could be there, as I am in my dreams.
Emel'ie my darling, I love and miss you to pieces!
TaTa for now,
Your loving Grand Me'me.
